About Industry

India is aspiring to become USD 5 Trillion economy and there’s no denying the fact that the PM Gati Shakti masterplan for multimodal connectivity will play an instrumental role in achieving this vision of the new India.

The Gati Shakti project has majorly emphasised more on building a multi-modal infrastructure that will provide integrated and seamless connectivity for movement of goods and services and people from one mode of transport to another. It will not only facilitate the last mile connectivity for freight movement but will also reduce travel time for people.

Six pillars of the Gati Shakti project which are Comprehensiveness, Prioritization, Optimization, Synchronization, Analytical & Dynamic will provide a seamless infrastructure for cargo movement in India. This will help in bringing down India’s logistics cost to 8%-10% of GDP which presently hovers around 14% of GDP.
